Definition of a good image
A good image should include the following components. For best results all the hands, feet (paws) and all body parts of a single subject must be in focus and in full view with no obstructions covering those parts. Any applicable equipment that should be included in the scene should be as close as possible to the body and fully in view with no missing or obstructed aspects. For multiple subjects in one image, best results will occur when feet and heads are clearly shown within the border of the shot. Preferred image size is 100 dpi or more (at least 72 dpi) resolution and one side at least 500-1000 px.
Often the silhouette style is better for lower quality images. Obstructions like grass or water get incorporated into the artwork, making a scene. Mitts, gloves, skates, hats, boots, helmets or other equipment worn, rode or close-by are acceptable. More than one subject may be included in the image for an additional fee, which will be provided to you before production of the order.
We recognize not everyone takes great photos so for exceptions to the above, extra graphic work can be done for additional fees to make an image successful. Be assured if your photograph will not work we will let you know, giving you the opportunity to submit another photo or if desired issue a refund.
